Aisha's Birthday Blend

A year ago, I was celebrating my 50th birthday.

It was a momentous day.

I had an epic party and celebrated with all of my friends and family. My husband’s band Rosa’s Buds kicked off the night, followed by an 80’s house dance mix that I created with all of my favorite dance tunes.

I created a photo slideshow and enjoyed the sweetest toasts from family and friends. It was a night to remember and the perfect way to bring in my 50th year.

And then, there was a pandemic.

Everything changed.
I changed. But before all of it, we danced.

This was the blend my friend Mandy Biedenweg created for my party. She put them in glass roller bottles with a gold top and a “50” sticker on the side. We handed them out as party favors. Can you imagine showing up to a party and receiving a beautiful nontoxic perfume at the door? Everyone LOVED it!!!

This blend was the beginning. It was the fun, the zest, the party before the world as I knew it turned upside down. But since all of this has happened, I keep using it to remind myself that even as I danced under the stars, I was capable of handling all that life has thrown my way.

I thought I would enjoy a year of travel, fun, adventure & time with my friends and NONE of that happened. Instead, the year catapulted me onto a path of change and uncertainty. I relied heavily on my tools to help navigate my anxiety and fears. I am so grateful for my oils, singing, meditation, roller skating and long walks with my dogs.

The oils in this blend are all about bravery, celebration and togetherness.

It may have been made for a birthday, but you could not choose a better way to celebrate getting through the hardest year of our lives. Let’s make this blend together and wear it in solidarity, knowing that we can handle anything when we do it together!

Let’s dance through the fear, dance through the love, dance in the rain because we CAN and because we MUST to keep the hope alive.

Aisha’s Birthday Blend

6 drops Black Spruce
4 drops doTERRA Brave blend
3 drops Cedarwood
2 drops Green Mandarin
2 drops Pink Pepper

Combine oils in a 10ml roller bottle. Fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil. Shake to combine, then wear as a nontoxic perfume. Enjoy!
